Carson booster club plans membership drive, picnic


 


Carson City's Oakland Raiders booster club holds a membership drive and picnic at 11 a.m. today at Washoe Lake State Park, 855 Eastlake Blvd. in Washoe Valley.

The guest will be former Raider linebacker Rod Martin.

Admission is $10 per person for nonmembers and free for booster club members. Admission includes a barbecue meal. Attendees are asked to bring a side dish to share and their own beverage.

Proceeds from the event support a Christmas home bound senior program.
